Azam Rubber Products Ltd was incepted in the year 1994 as a private limited company registered with Registrar of companies of Uttranchal and Uttar Pradesh at Kanpur with a Certificate of Incorporation No. 20-16709 of 1994. In 2003, it was transformed into a public limited company. Under the strict vigilance and support of the CEO of our company Mr. Mohd. Azam khan and his wife Smt. Shaheena Begum, we have carved a niche in the field of footwear items such as ladies fancy sandals, PVC footwear, sport shoes and many more. Our company was set with an objective of setting a modern plant for the purpose of manufacturing Hawai Chappals with the production capacity of 7.29 lac dozen pairs (87.48 lac pairs) per annum. Moreover, we started with our commercial production of slippers, chappals, leather/non leather fabricate chappals, canvas shoes, sandals, sports shoes and other footwear with an added capacity of 5.915 lac dozen pairs (70.98 lac pairs) per annum in 2001 in second unit (Unit No. 2) at plot No. AL-8 and AL-9(B) in Sector-13, GIDA, Gorakhpur. We have imported a fully automatic plant in the year 2004-05 from Taiwan or China and from March, 2005 we have initiated the production of a novel range of EVA chappals followed by a capacity of 12.76 lac dozen pairs (153.12 lac pairs). Our production capacity was increased by 8.10 lac dozen pairs (97.20 lac pairs) in 2006-07. Furthermore, our production capacity has increased up to 5 times over the last 10 years. We are recognized as one of the chief EVA footwear manufacturers and suppliers from India.
